Today (November 21, 2024), ASHIKA Development Associates organized the program with the assistance of the International Labour Organisation(ILO). The program was attended by the Honourable Chairman of RHDC, Mr. Kajal Talukder, as the Chief Guest, and The SP - Tourist Police, Mr. Nahid Adnan Taian, and the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Ms. Refat Asma, Rangamati Sadar, as special guests. Mr. Habib Azam, the member and convener of Tourism at RHDC, served as the program's president. ASHIKA Development Associates observed the National Mourning Day of Bangladesh.

On 15th August 2023, Ashika Development Associates observed the National Mourning Day of Bangladesh. This day holds great significance as it marks the assassination of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, along with most of his family members in 1975. The organization paid tribute to this great leader and his contributions towards the independence of Bangladesh. Various activities were organized, including discussions on his life and achievements, film screenings depicting his struggles, and a candlelight vigil to honor his memory. It was a solemn day that reminded everyone of the sacrifices made for freedom and inspired them to continue working towards a better future for Bangladesh.
