On the 25th of May 2023, an inception workshop was held for the CREA Project, which was implemented by ASHIKA Development Associates and funded by MJF & Embassy of Sweden in the Upazila Auditorium. The Inception Workshop was presided over by Muhammad Shahriar Muktar , UNO -Naniachar, chief guest Mr. Pragti Chakma, Upazila Chairman and Special guest Upazila Vice Chairman Nurjamal Howladar, Women Vice Chairman Asma Mallik, heads of various departments of the upazila, media workers, local panel UP chairman, members, headmen, upazila coordinators and field staffs of ASHIKA were present.
The Project PowerPoint presentation presented by Ms Mitu Chakma, Project Coordinator and Moderated by Mr. Subindu Chakma, Project Officer was a remarkable event. The presentation was well-structured, informative, and engaging, thanks to the use of PowerPoint software.
It was said in the discussion meeting that Burighat and Sabeksong Union have been included in the upazila-based activities for the next three years. And Ashika discusses the details of activities in these two unions.
The participants were encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts on how best to implement the project. The panel provided valuable insights and suggestions that would help ensure the success of the project.
Overall, the inception workshop was a great success. It provided a platform for stakeholders to come together and discuss ideas that would help bring about positive change in their community. With this strong foundation laid out at the beginning of the project, there is no doubt that it will be executed with great efficiency and effectiveness.
